Chicken Dim Sum (Steamed Dumplings)

🔸 Ingredients:
- 250g minced chicken
- 1 tbsp ginger (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp garlic (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp spring onion (chopped)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Salt & white pepper (to taste)
- 1 tsp cornflour
- Dumpling wrappers
🔸 Method:
- In a bowl, mix chicken, ginger, garlic, spring onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, pepper, and cornflour.
- Place 1 tbsp filling in each wrapper.
- Fold into pleated dumplings.
- Steam in a bamboo steamer for 8–10 minutes until cooked.
- Serve hot.
🥥 Coconut Buns

🔸 Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp yeast
- 2 tbsp sugar
- ½ cup coconut milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 egg
- ¼ tsp salt
🔸 Method:
- Activate yeast in warm coconut milk with sugar.
- Mix flour, egg, butter, and salt.
- Add yeast mixture and knead into soft dough.
- Let it rise for 1 hour.
- Shape into buns and rest 20 minutes.
- Bake at 180°C for 15–18 minutes until golden.
🥒 Cucumber Pickle (Quick Asian Style)

🔸 Ingredients:
- 2 cucumbers (thinly sliced)
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tsp sesame oil
🔸 Method:
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
- Toss well and rest for 15–20 minutes.
- Serve chilled.

- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp vinegar
- ½ tsp garlic paste
- ½ tsp chili paste
- 1 tsp sesame oil
🔸 Method:
- Mix all ingredients until smooth.
- Adjust thickness with a little water if needed.
- Serve as dipping sauce.
